last week of the hols!

Well, we have arrived at our last week of the summer hols, Giorgia will start school this time next week. We went with Granny and Grandad to Centre parks in Longleat, very tiring week! Lots of good old British rain and chips. But nice to see the folks and I think they may agree not to visit Longleat again in summer hols. Then Mummy and Daddy went a little bit retro for a party, v scary. Then we went to see Peter Pan in London, wow, that was cool. Carnival weekend and we went to the museums!!

Here is our annual bbq for the ante natal group, some new faces and some new bumps!

Mallorca 09

Went away with some friends to their in laws in Mallorca, luckily avoided the bombs.
We had two other lots of friends out there at the same time too, so had a great time catching up with everyone and driving round cliff tops, mummy whispering hail marys as we went.Daddy had to work. Can you guess who wasn't having fun?!

work...

Well, she stayed! Mummy has passed her exam and is now doing another one. But meantime has set up the bookkeeping business and got some clients, so now Daddy has said she can have the shop front under the factory office for the ice cream parlour, so stand by for mama's sundaes in the new year! Giorgia is practising for her first ballet and tap show! can't wait for that one and we have both joined the tennis club, the coach has asked Mummy if I can play in the after school group as he thinks I am quite good, haven't managed to get Giorgia to stay for a whole session yet as she gets too shy.

Mum's been having fun

Mummy's been out having fun too and says she is leaving Daddy for Garry, or Mark, or Jason, or the other one....

Summer looming means SPORTS DAY, I love it, bring it on. Not that we are competitive in our family but I Will NOT lose. Won the sprint, won the sack race then dragged my partner over the line in the 3 legged race!!! Poor chap dared to fall, as any 5 yr old may. Then remembered, as his head bumped along the grass, who he was tied to. Was quite funny. Started football and got picked for school team, played in a match and was told it was carnage, great!! ( ps They lost 12 nil- mum)

Birthdays bah humbug

Daddy arranged a surprise birthday party for Mummy at someone else's house and we all got to go. I don't quite know how old that makes her now, she says 21 again. She seems to forget that I now know how to add up, luckily I also know not to mention it, however Daddy is also now in the OAP bracket so we did get a trip to Granny and grandads out of it while they all went to Rome. There was the Blonde's parents, Ben's Parents, Jamie and Chloe's Parents and Harrison's parents. Do they not know any of their own friends???

Winter

Then It got cold, really cold and Mummy got grumpy. People spoke about ice ages and big birthdays and ....... Mummy snapped and finally admitted to having the occasional birthday, or 40!!!!

Hey we're back!!

Hi folks and may I apologise on my mother's behalf. No posts for sooo long, you won't recognise us. Where to start.... well, most importantly, with me. I had another birthday, that makes 5 now. Nearly catching up with Grandad. We had a surf party, I am a dude. Here am I with my best buddy Ben.

Holidays

Holidays, there have been a few this year!! There was the idyllic French trip with the blonde and her family: Sun, swimming, good food, good wine, an absolute ball, then all that excercise and Shandy at Centre parcs. As if that wasn't enough mum drove us to Devon to stay with Granny and Grandad, no wonder we look so tired. then there are all the dress up parties and mumupmanship on the costumes, nothing less than 1st prize will do. Giorgia just wants to wear her housework clothes!

Hey, we are getting on with stuff now all right! Giorgia is 3 and I am at big school! where does the time go? Won't be long before we have to start looking for the smoking sheds and that pub is on the way home from school! look at me on my 1st day, wobbly or wot!

Easter in Eastcote

I don't think it is supposed to look like this. This easter we had snow, The usual reeeally long walks with friends, oh and I got married to India so The Blonde is not very happy with me, but this year, we also had CHOCOLATE!!

Diary of 4and half yr olds half term

Drove mother mad, asking why it was too cold to go out. Drove mother further up wall, asking why it was now too windy. Went to farm shop, drove Jessica's mother up same wall, asking why we grow turnips. Went to see Big Ben. Why is he so big? Why is he called Ben? Went to another farm, saw real witches house. Why wasn't she in? Taught Giorgia to say "whyyyyy" in longest tone possible. Had shouting competition; Giorgia 9, Dino 11. Back to pre- school, need some answers.

ok ok I am sorry, I know I haven't been around but there's a lot going on in a young lad's life at this time of year you know. so, what have you missed? Well, there was christmas, I was the angel Gabriel in my nursery nativity. Don't mind saying that I was actually quite good, delivered the baby, woke up the sheperds, looked fab in my costume(thanks mum), all in a day's work eh? Then had a million and one social engagements to attend, pretty near as many parties as the red suited guy himself, was a bit fed up with party rings and hula hoops by the time the big day came and luckily there was a bit more on offer at ours. Santa duly came and delivered, despite what mum and dad said.( How could he not deliver to the Angel G? more than his job's worth) Then it was New Year and we had our usual all nighter at The Blonde's house. I even got to share a room with Dodi this year, mind you, so did Sophie and Giorgia so it was quite cosy. Mum and Dad didn't take photo's this year but Dad was very poorly so I think there may have been a virus? Before you know it, it's my birthday and here am I, FOUR years old! Had a fab party, and as you can see, Giorgia had to make do with a Hula hoop knuckle duster and Dad embarrassed The Blonde. It starts so early. Anyway, hols soon ended, (not soon enough for some) and it was back to pre-school, taking my little twister with me this time. It would seem that my sanctuary is over as she now attends my pre- school most days with me. Must be time for another holiday soon. Will keep you posted. X

Newquay

We had great fun in Newquay, although we seem to have found our theme for this year's holidays... rain. It was here too. May have to venture abroad for next year, think we may have done our bit for the environment , next year bring on global warming, we are freezing! Took all our pals with us on this hol, tho and that was entertaining. Mummy says Newquay is still the same as ever it was in the 40's or whenever she was young. But luckily we didn't brave the thrills of the caravan park but stayed in a very nice pad on the sea front. V windy, but then Dad always is. Anyway we are home now and time to crack on with the school work. Just christmas to look forward to now, and Santa beware, I am compiling a very tasty list for you in my best new writing.
